Please help me grasp cryptostorm

Hello cryptostorm,
I have about 20 tabs open worth of cryptostorm pages trying to make sense of the service. Mostly I have issues using the forum for information sourcing. Can you help me answer these questions? Thanks!

1. What is and ? The latter i a blank page, the former redirects to the main forum.

2. Where do I find a how-to to properly get a token and use it? Is there a "manual" to setting up and using cryptostorm?

3. I found plenty of sources elsewhere about cryptostorm not logging in 2013 and 2014, but not much since. What is logged at cryptostorm and for how much time in 2017-2018? There is no such thing as a no log service, so please don't BS, I wish to know what is logged and for how long.

Thanks! I just hope I find this page again, finding using the forum a bit of a mess I can't get my head around.

1. cryptofree is CS own way of giving back to community its VPN service (free but speed-is-limited)

2. Tokens = CS network access

I obtained mine numerous times from site :) and ofc from its resellers :D occasionally :F

See the above two reference links, (yes, do kindly download the excel / csv).

Now narrow down with me the criteria of a good vpn :

Globally, and after eliminating the not so stellar providers, you will notice that there are only 4 to 6 VPN services globally that keep to their promise of no/ or zero-logging.

I brought my shortlist down to five (5) VPN providers due to one of VPN companies being in my country's jurisdiction.

Below are the criteria that must be met satisfactorily by a decent, no logging vpn provider.

Based in (Country) "Five Eyes" "Nine Eyes" "Fourteen Eyes" - Nope (at least not yet)

With financials in Quebec,
biz registered in Iceland, server clusters decentralized) CS is at its best possible ability to be outside of USA or Canada snooping laws - that is until the NWO makes it totally impossible -- muhaha..

here it is to be noted that FreedomeVPN came very close to meeting all the criteria, so kudos to F-Secure, thus i hope their AV products do not spy on customers (unlike Symantec and Kaspersky :P fancy them being both pwned by Russia and some other country .. cough cough.. ) ; if F-Secure does not spy on its AV users or log vpn connections + metadata ; then they are really doing a great job gj there !).

Country Enemy of the Internet - No

Logging of Traffic:

a. DNS Requests

b. Timestamps

c. Bandwidth

d. IP Address (connection address, normally your ISP provided address)

CS is among the few that assert that all four as 'no' logging.

Anonymous Payment Methods:

Accepts Bitcoin - Yes, among many other methods

Gives back to Privacy Causes Yes (and I don't think I am alone in vouching for this criteria)

Meets PrivacyToolsIO Criteria - Yes

DNS and IP Leak protection(s) :

Kill switch - Not fully possible to implement a working kill switch yet

1st Party DNS Servers - Yes (ie no 3rd-party run/ owned DNS resolvers)

IPv6 Supported / Blocked - Yes

Supports multi-hop :

yes in a way they do support ""multi-hop"", see the CS voodoo network explanation

Zero misleading claims / facts -- > None-to-date

Thanks for leading some of the way.
The page does not specify whether cryptostorm logs or not. Cryptostorm might want to reach out to correct, or this guy har reasons to doubt?
Anyone knows what PrivacyToolsIO criteria are in listing a VPN? seems more like a one-line marketing/sales line: All providers listed here are outside the US, use encryption, accept Bitcoin, support OpenVPN and have a no logging policy.

Found a manual to cryptostorm burried somewhere in the forums ...

Unable to find any token resellers through the forum. Where can tokens be bought?

There have been a few resellers around since launch. The best one was VPN Darknet, but he seems to have taken early retirement. I tried to create a page to list all available token resellers, but there hasn't been much take up.

Can CryptoStorm be set up on a router, as by flashing DD-WRT or Tomato?

Yes, it can. I have it running on pfSense and there are guides for DD-WRT and other router distros in the guides, HOWTOs & tutorials sub-forum.
