Add Paysafecard as a payment option
Add Paysafecard as a payment option
Paysafecard is an electronic money system that allows users to exchange cash for a secure code in psysical stores that carries Paysafecard. That code can then be used for paying for goods online. It is as far as I have understood a very anonymous system and I believe that it would be good to add it as a payment option. Bitcoin is by default not anonymous (it's pseudonymous) and all transaction data is made public by the Blockchain. Bitcoin can be made harder to trace back by experienced Bitcoin users who know what they are doing, but for rookies using Bitcoin, anonymizing Bitcoin, and avoiding scams while doing it is no easy feat. For this group, people who are not able to anonymize Bitcoins and still want to obtain cryptostorm subscriptions anonymously, Paysafecard would be an ideal solution.

It is pointless if they can still monitor where and what you purchase with those PINs.
Blockchain related payment is the way to go but it is being increasingly regulated.

Re: Add Paysafecard as a payment option
Worst case scenario is that the Paysafecard code can be traced back to the specfic store where it was purchased and that they have security cameras that still has the footage archived. I have no idea to what extend they know where a specific Paysafecard code was sold from: If they know it at all, if they know which country, if they know which city, if they know which store it was bought from. However, it is far superior to using a credit card in terms of privacy for those who do not have the technical expertise to transact with Bitcoin. As someone who tried Bitcoin and concluded that it was too complicated for me - and gave up because I didn't know what the hell I was doing and didn't want to lose money - I can tell you that far from everyone can handle Bitcoin, but they should still have the opportunity to protect their privacy with as little trace as possible left behind. If a technically inexperienced user wants to purchase a VPN subscription and the payment options that he/she can handle are credit card and Paysafecard, I'd say Paysafecard is preferable and harder to trace.

Consider 'PaymentWall' too, they're available in +100 countries. I've used them for other VPN providers and it was super quick. Like others, I find Bitcoin to be a pain in the ass to setup, also the rates fluctuate alot.

I used PaymentWall for 2 different VPN providers just last month. I used PayPal for my token purchase for CS, be great if CS added PaymentWall

Re: Add Paysafecard as a payment option
Maybe it's possible to create some shell corporation for accepting Paysafecards? There's Mint Prepaid and Neosurf (physical store resellers | online resellers) which are electronic prepaid codes in the same manner that Paysafecard is. Perfect-Privacy tested buying Paysafecard using Mint Prepaid from an online reseller and it worked well. Mint Prepaid even markets itself as a pro-VPN payment method. There's also PayGarden, which Private Internet Access uses. PayGarden lets people pay using US gift cards.
The gift cards that might be useful for international customers are at least Nike, Puma, GameStop, The Body Shop, and Toys R Us since those have physical stores outside of the US. They also accept Apple Store gift cards (not iTunes gift cards), but since iTunes gift cards are region locked, I'd assume the might apply to Apple Store gift cards. You'd have to ask the customer service of the company you buy the gift card to if the gift cards you buy in your country will work in the US though in order to know if PayGarden will accept the gift cards.

Edit:
It's supposed to say "Perfect-Privacy tested buying Mint Prepaid using Paysafecard" in my previous post.
