Hey guys, CS was working perfectly yesterday but today I'm having all sorts of bother connecting using the ED25519 scripts from June.

LAX comes up with cannot resolve host la.cryptostorm.ch and its other hosts, and a fair few others fail.

Finland works.

clarification ... my Finland shell script connects but no DNS resolution. Pinging 8.8.8.8 is fine

Most scrips cannot resolve any CS hosts.

I would wager it's something local. What node are you connected to when you perform the DNS query?

I got the wrong end of the stick. The host resolution is fine, I suspect (from your log) that the OpenVPN server on port 5601 is down. Could you try connecting to the same node using one of the RSA configs instead?

I did try using an old RSA NM (Vancouver) connection and it refused to connect as well.

When posting here I was on my non-CS connection. When I was connected to Finland I tried posting but couldn't (I brought up CS Forum on non-VPN) then I checked a few other webpages and had no DNS resolutions for anything, but the pinging 8.8.8.8 did work.

This morning it's working properly, LAX connected now.

Hello,

Some servers seems to be down, while others are taking a long time to respond to the openvpn handshake since I haven't experienced this in the past so I guess something is not right.
For example the routes are only pushed after the 3 request:

I've mailed support 4 days ago and I didn't get any reply so far. I'm making my last attempt to contact someone from support since this is becoming to awkward.
I really like CS but things seem to be taking a down spiral lately, in case I don't get any reply until the end of the week I will take opportunity of the black friday and start to look elsewhere.

Hope someone from the support is able to see this.

If you have a native IRC client you can join the IRC channel at irc.cryptstorm.is, port 6697 (SSL) or 6667 (non-SSL). The channel name is #cryptostorm.

yeah, mine has been doing the same, LAX usually gets through after 3-4 of these push requests. I also tried Paris yesterday (I think) and it was the same, might have been more than 4.

I'm not worried that it has to retry for whatever reason so long as it connects, but it would be nicer if connections did progress more smoothly.

Can connect, can ping but can't resolve anything once connected.

Checked StatusCake, I'm connecting to LAX and Washington which are all green, but not joy.

Hope this can be sorted, these posts about the FBI aren't encouraging.

sort of ... ipmagnet seems intermittent. The IP hasn't appeared in Tracker message after the first attempt, and the webpage doesn't update the Timestamp list although the IP is correctly identified at the top and the Update button repeatedly pressed.

Pressing the update button on the widget does nothing but time out.
