Android-settings import failed

Post by DudeOfLondon » Mon Mar 25, 2019 5:55 am

Hi,
i can't import any of the ed25519 settings into the Arne Schwabe Android app.
When selecting them for import I get an error log as follows:

Code: Select all

importing cofig file from content://com.android.externalstorage.documents/primary%3ACstorm%2FBalancer_TCP.ovpn
Mime type: application/octet-stream
error on reading config file
No endtag <//a> for starttag </a> found

One step closer.
It seems the error happens because inside the ovpn file I can see HTMl code, that doesn't seem correct.
So when I try to save the OVPN file from github with "save destination as" as *.ovpn it somehow maybe saves the whole page that is behind that link?

EDIT: it seems to get the correct file version, you have to click on "raw" then go to save page as. And that saved ovpn file only contains the config without HTML.

Yea, if you save the default page it will save the HTML, which OpenVPN doesn't know how to read.
Need to click the "Raw" button, or download the master.zip, or download from https://cryptostorm.is/configs/ instead.
