Maybe a stale route was leftover because you were killing openvpn in an unclean way (SIGKILL [kill -9] instead of SIGTERM [kill -15], etc.) before reconnecting? Yep, that's possible. Found a small bug in the scenario 1 script. I'm not able to post a new topic for some reason so I'm leaving this here. :S When connected to a VPN server which gives more than one routes (such as Switzerland currently) two of the iptables rules, the scenario 1 killswitch script for Linux fails on two...
