Re: IPLeak.net broken?

Yepp, it fails on the dns test. I've used https://www.dnsleaktest.com/ in the past, still works fine and is my usual pick. Apparently https://browserleaks.com/ip is also a thing, but I've only recently used it.

Re: token not working

Might have been a temp problem. Had the same problem yesterday evening (linux-dusseldorf), switched to denmark, all well. Switched back to dusseldorf this morning and all is fine again.

Token checker told me the token was valid (nothing about session limit or similar).

Thanks!

Just a big thank you for all the work done quietly in the background, adding new nodes, keeping it all running, dealing with noobs like myself.

Have a good one.

Re: Error: the plugin doesn't support import capability, Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Error: the plugin doesn't support import capability I might be wrong, but just in case you tried to download a single .ovpn from within github - that might not work as it is hmtl. Download the conf in total from here https://github.com/cryptostorm/cryptostorm_client_configuration_files/archive/mast...

Re: TrackerSmacker: philosophical considerations

I suppose the real crux of the question is: how far is too far? ..are suddenly up in arms.. Hi parityboy, I'm sorry if I came across as being 'up in arms'. As said, I appreciate the ethics and the works put into cs. But you do agree that a civil discussion is not only ok, but useful and healthy? We...

Re: TrackerSmacker: adware/crapware-blocking done right

@Tealc,@thread It's an interesting philosophical debate, isn't it? :) Yes to all of the above, apart from the conclusion.. and there is it where the philosophies part ways :) In my opinion all of the accomplishments are consistent with a free, unrestricted, unmonitored, unhindered access... and thi...

Re: TrackerSmacker: adware/crapware-blocking done right

Hi,

I'm with Tealc on this one. However noble (and practical) the intentions, I do not like the idea of a governed blacklist I have no direct control over.

I would rather stick with the annoyances and potential dangers this might incur.

Re: Experiencing significant slow down in speeds when connected to Cryptostorm

I'm not the OP,

but today Turing and Cantus are slow (3 to 10 Mbit/s, usually close to my 100 downstream). Jord is still running fine for me at ~50 Mbit/s.
